About Us
The Ōmata Home & School Association has two roles: to fundraise for the school as well as welcoming new families and holding social events to strengthen the connection between families. We believe a strong community creates a supportive and secure foundation for our children and families to flourish.​

The fundraising part of the ÅŒmata Home & School Association's role is to raise funds to address the shortfall between school operation costs and the funding available from the Ministry and family fees/donations. Donations from our fundraising have gone towards buying new playground equipment, musical instruments, lego robotics and classroom games and much more.
The ÅŒmata Home & School Association meets for an hour once a term while our children play on the playground. We would love to have you join us at meetings or as a helper for school lunches or fundraising events. Being part of the ÅŒmata Home & School Association is a great way to get involved, meet new people and build a strong school community.
